Before Your Exam
General guidelines
MRI, CT, and Ultrasound (abdominal, pelvic, endovaginal and
musculoskeletal) requisitions MUST be faxed to the clinic before an
appointment can be made. The radiologist must review your doctor's order to
ensure the correct examination is performed. Please make sure that your
name and all your telephone numbers are clearly indicated so that we may
contact you promptly for your appointment.
Unless you are given other instructions, you must arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your exam to allow time for
registration and to ensure you are not late for your appointment.
If you are pregnant, it is not recommended to undergo radiation. Please speak
to your physician for alternatives
If you had had related imaging exams in the past, you might be
required to bring the images and/or the reports the day of your exam.

After Your Exam
The radiologist reviews the images on specialized monitors and dictates the findings.
The transcription department listens to the dictation and types the report. Once the
report has been typed, the radiologist proofreads it and finalizes the report. The final
report is either sent automatically by fax or mailed to the referring physician.
Your referring physician may have access online to view your images. If you require
a copy of the images on CD, a moderate fee applies.
